This proposed architectural project seeks to transform an old cement factory near La Granja d’Escarp in the picturesque Lleida province of Spain.
The primary goal is to establish a Research Center that integrates ecological recovery efforts with seasonal tourism as a sustainable revenue source. This center will serve researchers, students, and the general public, offering facilities tailored to their needs.
A key aspect of the project is the 3D reconstruction of the existing structures, inspired by the confluence of the Segre and Cinca rivers at Aiguabarreig Segre-Cinca. By intertwining the primary axes of the roofs, the central buildings are reimagined to create a distinctive and innovative architectural space.
